And when we are searching for new targets until late at night, this power comes from CO2 neutral production. Since our servers have been operated 100% CO2 neutral for a long time, we have now become CO2 neutral in terms of electricity.
Surely we still have a Herculean task ahead of us to optimize our offers step by step in terms of eco balance, but every little step is important.

News from the HESG, Enduro-GP & more

This week, we have again summarized the latest information and developments in the enduro scene for you. We hope you enjoy reading them and have a nice day, let's go!

Rallye: Silk Way Rally is in full swing

Since July 01, the Silk Way Rally, which is held in Russia and Mongolia, is in full swing. Until July 11, participants from more than 40 countries will put their skills to the test as they ride along the 5,200 km long route.

Follow the rallye here: Live Silk Way Rally — Online Live Tracking Monitoring Silk Way Rally

HESG: Successful season opening

After a long wait the HESG 2021 finally opened in Crimmitschau. With some international participants as well as well-known personalities like Kai Haase or Tim Apolle, the high standard of riding could be maintained in the third year of the series.

The victory was finally secured by Leon Hentschel, who had a long-drawn-out duel with Apolle. The decisive factor was a challenging slope on the second lap, where Hentschel managed to overtake his rival. Even though the latter was able to catch up afterwards, it was no longer enough to overtake the champion of 2019. The podium was completed by Vaclav Nedved, who secured his first German podium with this race.

Enduro GP: Freeman secures the lead

At the second Enduro World Championship race in Italy, Brad Freeman managed to extend his lead with a remarkable victory. After a long back and forth with Australian Wil Ruprecht, the latter finally had to admit defeat as he ran out of steam.

The only German, Manuel Lettenbichler, had to stop the race early due to a technical defect. Just like his fellow Hard Enduro riders Billy Bolt and Taddy Blazusiak, Lettenbichler approached the race more as a warm-up than as a serious competition with the intention of winning.

Markelo: Starting signal for the Cross-Country season

Last weekend, the starting signal for this year's cross-country season was given in Markelo in the Netherlands. After a long break from any competitions, the participants encountered a 6 km course on and around the Circuit de Herikerberg, where the 2-hour heats of the various classes were held.

Travel time: Book your summer adventure now

For a long time, it was not clear what would be possible in the summer. But now we know: travel-wise, many doors and borders are open for us!

The entry to Croatia (among others) is especially easy right now and the incidence is very low. Whether you’re bringing your own motorcycle on a trailer or you’re traveling by plane and ride on one of our rental motorcycles - in Istria, both enduro and travel enduro riders get their money's worth. Secure your spot right now and enjoy your spontaneous motorcycle timeout: you will find all information about our enduro tours here. For our travel enduro tours, click here.

Rallye: Victory for Ross Branch in Kazakhstan

After the Dakar Rally didn't go too well for the Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Factory Team, Ross Branch convinced us at the opening round of the FIM Cross Country Rally World Championship and secured the first place. Matthias Walkner and Adrien van Beveren completed the podium.

Ross Branch: "All in all it was a fantastic week in Kazakhstan. I'm happy with the win. Before the race I focused on navigation work and that worked here. I opened stages and stayed in front. I can't expect more than that. The goal (today) was to keep the lead. I did a good job, then the final stage was cut short. It's good to be racing again. The team did a great job on the bike."

News from FIM, HESG, GCC & more

This week, we have again summarized the latest information and developments in the enduro scene for you. We hope you enjoy reading them and have a nice day, let's go!

FIM: Round 1 is done

The first round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship is now behind us, but not only thanks to Corona almost nothing went as planned. After the prologue and the main race had to be cancelled at short notice due to the local Corona hot spot, the weather gods also decided to make life difficult for the riders with a lot of rain during the night. This eventually led to the organizers deciding to hold the race, but not award any championship points for the sake of fairness.

Red Bull: Erzbergrodeo falls flat again in 2021

While the organizers of the Extreme XL Lagares were still lucky enough to be able to hold their event with some changes, it is now clear that the Iron Giant will have to rest for another year. Although every scenario has been played out, Austria's current COVID-19 regulation does not allow the legendary Erzbergrodeo to take place. What a pity!

Adventure: Discover Croatia on a motorcycle

No plans for the summer yet? Our recommendation: an exciting and varied getaway in Istria, Croatia, exploring the beautiful region on an enduro or adventure bike! No matter if you choose our Istria round trip or our island-hopping tour - on the way you will experience a variety of gravel roads, riverbeds, forests, and single trails, which seem just predestined to be experienced on a motorcycle.

You will find all information about our enduro tours here. For our travel enduro tours, click here.

Rallye Dakar: It can get worse

While the season is just starting for most people, the organizers and participants of the Rallye Dakar already have their eyes on 2022. As was recently announced, the upcoming edition of the popular rally could be even tougher than it already is. What is also already certain is that the rallye will once again be held exclusively in Saudi Arabia and that the participants will have to compete primarily in the sandy dunes. In detail, this means that three stages will exclusively lead through dunes, there will be 12 stages in total and 80% of the route will be new. What a way to start the new year!

HESG: Hamma only comes in November

The HESG run in Hamma was originally planned as the season opener, which should have taken place on 29.05.21. However, as recently announced, this run is also currently struggling with some regulatory restrictions, which is why it was promptly rescheduled. The new date is 20.11.21 - but the RIDEDAY on 19.06.21 will still take place in Hamma if nothing changes. Let's keep our fingers crossed that both events can take place as planned!

GCC: All plans just got reset again

After the originally planned start of the season in Walldorf has already been cancelled, the race series should finally start in Venusberg in June. However, as has now been announced, the season opening has been postponed once again - the expected start date will now only be on July 3rd and 4th in Triptis. Since it is not yet clear whether an alternative date can be offered for the race in Venusberg, there are now only three events on the Maxxis Cross Country race calendar.

We hope that you're enjoying your day by riding your bike and keeping your distance. The summer will be hot

This week, we have again summarized the latest information and developments in the enduro scene for you. We hope you enjoy reading them and have a nice day, let's go!

Rally: New pilots at Husqvarna and Hero MotoSports

As for every year, some rider changes at the factory teams have been made for the upcoming season. On the rally side, there have been two new announcements in recent weeks, with both Husqvarna and Hero MotoSports signing up new riders.

For Husqvarna, the rookie and KTM privateer Skyler Howes will start immediately, who could already shine at the last Rally Dakar with a terrific fifth place. For competitor Hero MotoSports, on the other hand, Argentinean Franco Caimi will give his best, who has already scored several national and Latin American victories. Also, at the Six Days he could already secure himself the first place six times.

Training: Secure the last places

As you might have noticed, this year we are offering enduro and adventure bike trainings at the popular Bilstain site for the first time. As fast as they came, they were already fully booked - in Belgium as well as in Germany the places are slowly but surely getting scarce.

So, make sure to secure your place at one of our popular training offers. We are looking forward to riding with you!

Italy: Results of the Enduro Championship

The first three rounds of the Italian Enduro Championship are over, three more are still to come - time to get an overview of the current status! Australian Will Ruprecht currently is in the overall lead, competing for the team of Boano. 10 points less secured Matteo Cavallo the second place and Brad Freeman, who currently finds himself in the third place, only has got one point less. The competition remains exciting for sure!

And: on the European side, the season has started with the opening run of the European Championship in Castel di Tora, Italy as well and three runs are still to come. We are looking forward to an exciting season!

Hardenduro: Countdown to the start of the world championship

After Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker now also ventures a look behind the scenes of racing. Last year, Walker went through probably one of the most spectacular paddock changes, which brought him from his usual KTM to a Beta RR 300 Racing. In addition to that switch, he has now decided to go beyond the day-to-day racing and put together his own race team, the VISON TRACK BETA team.

We'll soon be able to see if this was a good decision and how the first season of double duty will go for Walker and his colleagues - after all, this year's FIM Hardenduro World Championship season starts in Portugal next weekend!

Travel time: What's on in May

As the temperatures rise, so does the desire to travel. So it's high time to plan your next trip - or to pack your bags spontaneously! If you are still looking for a suitable offer for May, here is a brief overview of the current conditions (for Germans) for our most popular destinations:

  • Armenia: negative PCR test
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina: negative PCR test
  • Costa Rica: health insurance covering COVID-19 diseases
  • Ecuador: negative PCR test / rapid antigen test AST / vaccination certificate (2nd dose)
  • Georgia: negative PCR test + further PCR test on site
  • Croatia: negative PCR test / rapid antigen test AST / vaccination certificate (2nd dose)

All further information as well as our contact details can be found on our website.

GasGas: Dirt Days are coming to Germany

This summer, GasGas will go on a United in Dirt Tour and cross all of Europe with a truck - fully loaded with the whole GasGas vehicle range! For you, this means: ride, ride, ride - after all you can test ride all motocross, enduro, trial and even mountain bike models during the events. A bit of luck is required, however, as only a selected number of riders will be allowed to attend the events – the lucky ones will be determined by a social media challenge. Good luck to all of the participants!

News from the HESG, AMA & more

This week, we have again summarized the latest information and developments in the enduro scene for you. We hope you enjoy reading them and have a nice day, let's go!

Extreme Enduro: Now also on the rise in the USA

More and more U.S. riders are getting involved in extreme enduro racing, which is why the AMA created its first-ever Extreme Championship for 2021, the AMA Extreme Championship, challenging riders on both the East and West coasts. The race series kicked off this month in Arizona at the Grinding Stone Enduro, with 180 riders competing. In the end, none other than Sherco rider Cody Webb came out on top in a race that tested both riders and equipment.

Events: Superenduro World Championship in April cancelled

As recently announced, this year's edition of the SuperEnduro World Championship, which would have taken place in Budapest's Papp Lazlo Arena, has also fallen victim to the Corona pandemic. From the side of the organizers, it is said that the current situation will be monitored, and a new date will be communicated as soon as possible. We remain curious!

Training: It pays to be fast

If you want to have fun in the terrain, you cannot really get around regular training - after all, the saying "practice makes perfect" also applies here. In addition to improving your skills, training also gives you the opportunity to meet like-minded people and simply enjoy an all-round good time out from everyday life, making you almost feel like you just went on a short vacation.

But: many of our dates are already well booked, some have even been booked out for weeks already – therefore, it's worth to be quick if you want to secure yourself one of the coveted places!

All information & our registration form can be found here.

Hard Enduro: Victory for Roman in Spain

Unimpressed by the current situation, the Spanish Hard Enduro Cup of the Moto Club Calahorra took place in Arnedo, La Rioja, in mid-March - and even set a record with 265 registered riders! The 14 km long track did not make it easy for the riders, even overtaking the lapped riders was no easy task on the demanding course. In the end, Mario Roman could secure the first place and Teodor Kabakchiev, who completed his first race in Spain in the team of the legendary Graham Jarvis, landed on the second place. Third place was secured by Josu Artola and the winner of the women's class, Sandra Gómez, was able to draw on her excellent trial skills during the race, which secured her an impressive 18th place overall.

Adventure: Istria invites you to a motorcycle tour

Whether on a sports or touring enduro - Istria and its offshore islands offer many exciting routes with a very large offroad component. Experience your off-road adventure in breathtaking scenery, tailored to your level. In small groups you will ride over gravel roads, through forests and riverbeds as well as over single trails - you alone decide how challenging it should be. You can book these tours from March to December, also with more riding days or an additional Jet Ski Safari. Thanks to the proximity to the picturesque Adriatic coast, this tour can also be ideally integrated into a family vacation.

Secure your spot here.

HESG: Season start postponed

Even though these news don’t read too surprisingly, this year's HESG run in Reisersberg has recently been postponed to 07/17/2021, which also pushes the start of the season in Germany further back. Now, the season will begin with the run in Hamma on 29.05.2021 - let's keep our fingers crossed that it can take place as planned.

All dates of the HESG can also be found in our event calendar.
