Our journey:

Our round trip starts and ends in Bastia and takes you through the incomparable diversity of Corsica. From winding coastal roads to hidden villages, through green chestnut forests and up into rugged mountain landscapes - every stage is an experience in itself. This trip takes you around the whole of Corsica and leads you through the most fascinating and pristine corners of the island - a journey that lets you immerse yourself in the soul of Corsica.

One of the island's most spectacular coastal roads stretches along the west coast of the Cap Corse peninsula, the "finger" of Corsica. Charming villages and magnificent views of the Mediterranean make every bend special. On the very first stage, we reach Saint-Florent, the "Saint-Tropez of Corsica", before heading along the mystical Désert des Agriates and up into the mountains. Via Calvi and Galéria, a quiet pearl in a beautiful bay, the route takes us through the Calanchi di Piana to Ajaccio. This wild rocky landscape offers breathtaking views.

The fascinating mountain world exerts a magical attraction on all adventurers. The narrow, winding roads of the Castagniccia region lead us into the lush chestnut forests that are typical of Corsica. More surprises await in the wild valleys. Corsica is famous for its natural pools - crystal-clear river bathing spots formed over millions of years. In the Asco Valley, you have the best opportunity to bathe in one of these natural pools - an unforgettable experience!

From the northernmost to the southernmost point, we ride around and through the entire island. The history of Corsica accompanies us on every stage, and we stop at a number of historical sites that still shape the island's culture today. Corsica's culinary treasures are not to be missed either: Don't miss out on local specialties such as lonzu and coppa, tangy sheep and goat cheese, the famous chestnut honey, wines, Pietra chestnut beer and the best "St-Georges" mineral water. The island inspires not only with its nature, but also with its extraordinary flavors and traditions.

Join us on this unique round trip and discover the fascination of Corsica in all its facets - a journey you will never forget.

Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: The rugged beauty of Cap Corse
Our first day takes us along the north coast of Corsica through the breathtaking landscape of Cap Corse. After a stop at the idyllic beach of Barcaggio, we enjoy the panoramic view from the historic Sémaphore du Cap Corse and admire the Moulin Mattei, a landmark of the region. We continue to the charming port of Centuri, known for its lobsters, and the mystical black beach of Nonza. The day ends in lively Saint-Florent, the "Saint-Tropez of Corsica", where we soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere.

Day 3: Desert magic and rocky worlds
The second day takes us into the wild Désert des Agriates, to secluded beaches and clear river bathing spots. A detour to the pretty Église Saint-Michel de Murato shows us Corsica's Romanesque architecture. In the port town of Calvi, we enjoy the view of the citadel and the turquoise sea. At the end of the day, we reach the famous Calanches de Piana, whose shimmering red rocky landscape offers an unforgettable sight.

Day 4: Mountains, bridges and chestnut forests
We start in Piana and ride over the historic Ponte Vecciu, embedded in an idyllic river landscape. The route winds its way through dense chestnut forests to the Col de Vergio, Corsica's highest road pass, with breathtaking views. Before reaching our destination for the day, Ajaccio, we visit the charming coastal village of Cargèse with its characteristic churches and Greek flair.

Day 5: Historical sites and southern flair
On our fourth stage, we travel from Ajaccio to the deep south of Corsica. Our first stop is the impressive menhirs of Filitosa, one of the most important prehistoric sites on the island with millennia-old stone sculptures and mystical monuments.
The route continues to Spin' a Cavallu, an elegant, medieval stone arch bridge that spans harmoniously over a clear river and offers an extraordinary photo backdrop.

In Sartène, "the most Corsican of all Corsican towns", we enjoy the atmosphere of the narrow streets and the historical flair of this charming mountain town. Finally, we reach the Bocca di Roccapina, Corsica's southernmost vantage point, where the striking "Lion Rock" watches over the coast and gives us spectacular views of the deep blue sea.
Our stage ends in picturesque Bonifacio, one of Corsica's most impressive towns with its white cliffs and medieval alleyways.

Day 6: Beaches, pleasure and mountain villages
The fifth day begins with a visit to the beautiful Plage de Palombaggia. This pine-lined beach with fine, white sand and turquoise blue water is considered one of the most beautiful in Corsica and invites you to take a short break and a walk.

After our visit to the beach, we ride over the Bocca di Pelza and reach the coast in Solenzara, a relaxed town on the east coast where you can get the best ice cream in the whole of Corsica. From here we return to the mountains and the quiet mountain village of Zicavo, which shows us the authentic life in the interior of the island.
Our day's stage finally ends in Quenza, a charming village surrounded by the green landscape and mountain peaks of the Alta Rocca, ideal for a restful night.

Day 7: Mountains, history and farewell
On the last day of our trip, we head back from Quenza to Bastia. We cross the green heart of Corsica and reach Corte, the island's secret capital. Set amidst dramatic mountain landscapes, Corte impresses with its fortress, which towers high above the old town, and its charming alleyways, which paint a vivid picture of Corsican history.

From Corte, the route takes us into the mountain valley of Haut-Asco, one of the most spectacular natural areas on the island. Surrounded by majestic peaks and untouched wilderness, we enjoy the rugged beauty of Corsica and a last impression of its unspoiled nature. In the afternoon, the route finally takes us back to the coast to Bastia, where our unforgettable round trip comes to an end.
