10-days travel enduro tour through Armenia

During this travel enduro tour through Armenia, you will move your motorbike from one highlight to the next on historic paths. Lots of riding  fun, adventure and culture are perfectly combined here.

Day 1: 16 Aug, Tue: Arrival to Yerevan
23:30 Arrival to Zvartnots international airport. Private transfer to the hotel. Check in for overnight in hotel 3* (“Ani Central Inn” or similar).

Day 2: 17 Aug, Wed: Yerevan Free day

Day 3 : 18 Aug. Thu: Yerevan - Garni - Ghegard - Aragats - Byurakan (B/-/D) 155 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel and transfer to garage. Contract formalities and start riding to Geghard Monastery of 12-13th cen. Another stop at Garni pagan temple of 1st cen. Return back to Yerevan. Continue to the slopes of Mt. Aragats (4090 m. a.s.l). Stop to Kari Lake (above 3000 m.). Dinner and overnight in Byurakan village (“Amberd” hotel or other).

Day 4: 19 Aug, Fri: Byruakan - Shirakamut - Stepanavan (B/-/D) 155 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Shirakamut village stopping at Trchkan waterfall. It’s the highest waterfall of Armenia of 23 meters high which rushes down on Chichkhan river. Continue to Stepanavan. Dinner and overnight in Stepanavan (“Grig House” or similar).

Day 5: 20 Aug, Sat: Stepanavan - Odzun - Hagpat - Yenoakavan (B/-/D) 155 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Lori province. Visit Odzun village and continue to Haghpat monastery of 10-13 cen. which is one of the highlights of UNESCO. It has been big religious, educational and cultural center of Medieval Northern Armenia. Continue to Yenokavan village and check in at a nice resort situated over the village on a plateau surrounded by the mountains. Horse – riding, mountain bike, fishing, trekking and zip-line are offered by the resort. Dinner and overnight in Yenokavan (“Aland” or similar).

Day 6: 21 Aug, Sun: Yenokavan - Navur - Parz lake - Tsapatagh (B/-/D) 280 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through Navur village to eastern part of Tavush province and arrive to lake Parz located in the Dilijan National Park east of Dilijan in Armenia. The lake was formed by natural climatic changes. Continue to Ghegarqunik province and ride along the eastern shores of lake Sevan. Arrive to Tsapatagh village. Dinner and overnight in Tsapatagh.

Day 7: 22 Aug. Mon: Tsapatagh - Vardenis - Selim – Tatev - Goris (B/-/D) 290 km
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue riding along the eastern shores of lake Sevan and arrive to Vardenyants pass. Stop at Orbelyans caravanserai (Seilm) which stands on the former great Silk Road route and continue to the south of Armenia to visit the majestic Tatev monastery where you can reach by passing through the beautiful gorge of Vorotan or taking World’s longhest non stop aerial tramway inscribed in Guinness records book. Dinner and overnight at “Mthnadzor” hotel or similar in Goris.

Day 8: 23 Aug, Tue: Goris - Noravank - Khor Virap - Yerevan (B/L/-) 250 km
Breakfast and check out. Drive to Noravank monastery of 9-14th cen. Lunch in a local cave café in Gnishik river canyon. Return back to Yerevan and have a stop at Khor Virap monastery of 4-14thn cen. which offers the closest and the best view to Mt. Ararat. Arrival to Yerevan. Accommodation in “Ani Central Inn” or similar. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 9: 24 Aug, Wed: Free day in Yerevan

Day 10: 25 Aug, Thu: Departure
02:30 Transfer to the airport.
05:05 Departure.

 

For your convenience, the tour price already includes the rental fee for one of our 4-stroke Yamaha XT660 motorbikes that are in perfect condition.

For your own safety, we require you to wear a helmet, gloves, a motorcycle jacket or jersey and durable motorcycle boots while riding. For this purpose, please bring your own protectional gear.

If none of our proposed tour dates work for you, simply send us a message and let us know when you'd like to travel to Armenia - the best time to travel through Armenia on a motorbike is between May and October.

In accordance with §651r BGB, you will receive a risk coverage certificate immediately after completing your reservation that protects the amount that you have paid to us in the case of our insolvency.

The minimum number of participants for this trip is 1 person. Unless you specifically booked this tour as a private tour, we may join you with other travelers.
