7-Day ADV Bike Tour in Georgia - Javakhti-Svaneti

During this 7-day enduro tour, our experienced guides will show you the most marvelous places of Georgia! Enjoy a mix of onroad and offroad riding while exploring Georgia on a motorbike.

Day 1: Welcome to Batumi!

After your arrival at the airport of Batumi, we will greet you and give you the opportunity to also meet the other riders. Depending on your arrival time, you've got some time to refresh yourself from the flight before receiving your rental bike and equipment for the week! We go through all of the paperwork and a little briefing before it's time for our first departure of the tour. Here, we've got two options: a radial departure (with return to Batumi) or a departure to the jeep trail in the national park Machakhela, with an overnight stay at a hotel in the Merisi Gorge. During this riding time, our guide will use the chance to determine your riding level, prepare the team and fit the equipment, so that we can fully start enjoying our tour the next day.

Alternative option: Hulo

Day 2: From Batumi to Akhaltsikhe

We leave Batumi in the morning. On our way we will visit a 50 meter high waterfall. A beautiful, 50 km long asphalt road that runs along the gorge awaits us. Then it's 50 km uphill to the pass at 2,200 meters. We enjoy the panorama of the whole Adjara. We then ride to the Goderji Pass at 2,400 m. We pass a ski resort and reach the neighboring region of Javakheti. On the way, we visit the unique Green Lake. In the evening, we ride down to Akhaltsikhe and spend the night in a hotel.

Alternative option: Vardzia, the most ancient city

Day 3: Visiting the secret winery

In the morning we visit a fortress. We then ride along picturesque paths to the Zekari Pass at 2,500 meters. From there we ride along the mountain ridge and alpine meadows back down to the hot springs of Georgia. We then visit the sights of the old town of Kutaisi. We continue on a dirt road to a winery in the mountains. There we have a wine tasting and rest before continuing to the high mountains of Svaneti.

Alternative option: Borjomi

Day 4: Svaneti & Mestia

In the morning we ride to the glass bridge over the waterfall. We then head to Svaneti. We pass the Laptopari Pass (2,800 m) and enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Caucasus mountain range. We then descend to the village of Ushguli. We then ride to the glacier. We continue along the Svaneti Gorge. We ride up to Mount Tetnuldi (3,300 m). In the evening we arrive in Mestia, the capital of Svaneti. We will visit the museum and have dinner in a national restaurant.

Alternative option: Korinishi

Day 5: Svaneti

Today, we'll explore Mount Khatsvali and the Koruldi Lakes on our motorbikes. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a nice descent along the ski track with it's wood-fired sauna. This day will completely break down your stereotypes of Georgia and could possibly be the most top-notch day of our trip! We'll spend the night in Mestia.

Alternative option: Mestia

Day 6: Black sand

Today, a ride from Svaneti to the sea awaits us. On the way, we cover 150 kilometers of serpentines and 50 kilometers of asphalt. During our ride, we stop at one of the highest dams. In the evening, we ride down to the Black Sea. We can ride along the beach for several kilometers. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Alternative option: Ureki

Day 7: Return to Batumi

Today, we'll ride along the coast to return to Batumi. There, we'll hand over our equipment, share our favorite tour moments and memories, walk along the sea front of Batumi and enjoy a tasty farewell dinner, before leaving for the airport of Batumi.
