7-days travel enduro tour through southern Armenia
Follow the silk road, try some traditional Armenian honey and visit historic monuments such as the Geghard Monastery during this travel enduro tour.
After arriving in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, you will check-in at your hotel and have some time to get acquainted with your new surrounding before going for a first city tour. Afterwards, we'll take a look at the motorbikes you will be riding during our tour and then, we will have dinner.
We start our first ride by heading towards the resort town of Jermuk. On our way, we wil stop at the medieval cemetery in the village of Noradus as well as at the caravanserai on the silk road. In the evening, we will reach Yeghegnadzor, where we will spend the night.
We start our day with a ride along the M2 highway up to the fork of the road near the Shurnukh village. Taking a dirt road with numerous serpentines running through picturesque mountains, we will reach Bgheno-Noravank, a small church by the road. From the village Shinuayr onwards, we will head towards the Tatev monastery. Here, you have the possibility of riding to the monastery and back on Europe's longest cable car. After the visit to the monastery, we will ride to the city of Kapan through some mountain villages and on our way pass the lake Kashuni.
After breakfast, we will depart from Kapan to the south through the Shikahogh reserve towards the Iranian border. Taking a big loop, we will ride back on beautiful mountain roads to go back to Kapan and from there onwards to Goris.
We depart from Goris and ride to the prehistoric monument Karahunj Stonehenge. Next, we will visit the abandoned settlement of Khndzoresk on the rapid slopes of a gorge before riding to Yeghegnadzor through the Herher reserve. On our way, we will stop at the beekeepers to try honey. We will spend the night in Yeghegnadzor.
Today, we will return to Yerevan. On our way, we will ride along a scenic road passing the bottom of the canyon and leading us to the Noravank church complex. We stop at the Khor Virap church at the foot of Mount Ararat before riding to the village Garni to see the ancient temple and the unique Geghard Monastery. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner in Yerevan before spending our last day of the tour there.
After breakfast, you will be transfered to the airport and fly back home.
You can ride the tour on one of our rental motorcycles (usually Yamaha XT660, 4-stroke, Kawasaki LKR650, 4-stroke or Suzuki DR650SE, 4-stroke). As opposed to our other tours, where you need to be at least 18 years old, the minimum age required for this tour is 21 years.

The minimum number of participants for this trip is x persons. However, if you only want to book y – z tickets, that is fine as well. Just pre-book the tour on our website and we will join you with other travelers. Should the minimum number of participants not be reached, we will contact you in time to find a suitable solution.
