18-days travel enduro tour through Armenia and Georgia
On this tour, you will see the most beautiful spots of Armenia and Georgia on a motorbike. Starting from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, this tour will lead you through the Khulo mountain pass to the shore of the Black Sea and then onwards to one of the oldest cities in Georgia, Mtskheta. Riding along more serpentine roads, we reach Stepanakert, the capital of Karabakh, and from there on move on over the Devil's Bridge right to Kapan. From there, we'll ride back to Yerevan where our journey started.
After arriving in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, you will check-in at your hotel. You've got time to get acquainted and then go for a first city tour. Afterwards, we'll take a look at the motorbikes you will be riding during our tour and then we will have dinner.
After breakfast, we'll ride towards the Geghard Monastery. On our way, we'll stop at the ancient temple in Garni. From the Geghard Monastery onwards, we'll ride uphill to the Byurakan Observatory, Oshakan village and Yezidi nomadic herders. Afterwards, we'll stop at lake Kari Lich before heading to Mount Aragats. Here, we'll enjoy the view before spending the night on top of the hill.
We continue our ride today towards the Tegher Monastery. On our way, we will visit the Stone Alphabet as well as the Saghmosavank Monastery, which is located next to the most beautiful canyon of Armenia. We ride our motorbikes to the city of Gyumri where we will spend the night.
Today, we'll cross the border to Georgia, pass the city of Akhalkalaki and enter the gorge that will lead us to the cave Monastery Vardzia. From there, we'll ride our motorbikes to the castle Rabati in Akhaltsikhe and enjoy a delicious dinner at the Akhaltsikhe bikers' guesthouse.
In the morning, we are heading towards the Black Sea through the Khulo mountain pass, a very interesting road with beautiful views. On our way, we shall meet both asphalt and gravel roads. Our destination for today is the city of Batumi where we will have dinner at the seashore.
Starting from the Sea, we will head towards the central mountain part of the country. After passing many mountain passes and beautiful roads, we will reach the town Borjomi and visit the Bakuriani resort.
We start our day by heading towards one of the oldest cities in Georgia, Mtskheta, which is known as a world heritage site for its cultural monuments. We continue to the Ananuri Castle complex before heading to the Mount Kazbegi with an elevation of 2170 m. Here, we will visit the most famous church of the area, the Gergeti Trinity Church. By the end of the day, we will reach the resort town Gudauri where we will spend the night.
Today, we will explore the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. After riding there, we will park our bikes and explore the city by car and foot. After visiting the main attractions of the city, we will walk through the old town of Tbilisi before entering a traditional Georgian restaurant with folk music to have dinner.
After breakfast, we cross the border and ride back to Armenia. On our way, we will follow the canyon road until we reach the Lori region, where we will stop at the Monastery Complex Haghpat that was built in the 10th century already! Afterwards, we continue our ride to the town Sanahin, where we will stop at the medieval eduaction and church complex Sanahin. Furthermore, we will visit the museum of the Mikoyan brothers before following the beautiful road through the mountain valleys until we reach the city of Vanadzor, where we will spend the night at the Tej Ler Resort.
Today, we will ride to the city of Ijevan from which we will head along a mountain trail with gravel and dirt roads to the city of Karmir. We continue on a paved road to the Lake Parz, following an interesting road through the gorge and then riding uphill again. We will spend the night in the city of Dilijan.
In the early morning, we will ride along the serpentine road up to the Molokans village high up on the mountain and then ride back down to the Sevan lake. Crossing the mountain pass in the direction of the capital city Karabakh, we will visit some hot springs and the monasteries Dadivank and Gandzasar. Finally, we will reach Stepanakert, where we will spend the night.
On the 12th day we will visit the Tigranakert castle and museum from the period of Hellenistic Armenia. From there, we will head towards the biggest and oldest tree of the country, called Chinari tree. By the end of the day, we will visit the Meliks Castle in Togh Village, where we will also spend the night.
Riding towards the city Shushi, we will visit the White Church and then ride along a curvy mountain road to the cave village Khndzoresk. After visiting the swinging bridge and the caves, we will reach our final destination for the day, the city Goris.
We start our day with a ride to the Tatev Monastery complex, where you can take a ride on Europe's longest cable car. We will stop by the natural bridge named Devil's Bridge and have a look at the ancient Oil Mill. Next, we will follow a gravel road through the mountains that will lead us to the city Kapan, where we will spend the night.
Departing from Kapan to the south, we will ride through the Shikahogh Reserve towards the Iranian border. Taking a big loop on the beautiful mountain road, we will ride back to Kapan and then to Goris. On the way, we will stop by a medieval bridge and the lake Kashuni in the mountains.
Leaving Goris, we will ride to the Vayots Dzor province. On our way, we will stop by the 7500 years old observatory called “Qarahunj”. Afterwards, we will cross the mountain pass and get to the ancient Silk Road that will lead us to the Lake Sevan. On our way, we will stop at the Noravank Monastery and the 13th century Caravansarai. In the evening, we will reach Hankavan.
We will ride to the most famost resort town in Armenia, Tsakhkadzor, before riding along the canyon road to get to Bjni and Yerevan. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
This is the last day of your tour. You will be transfered to the airport and fly back home.
For your convenience, the tour price already includes the rental fee for one of our 4-stroke Yamaha XT660, 4-stroke Kawasaki KLR650 or 4-stroke Suzuki DR650SE motorbikes that are in perfect condition.

For your own safety, we require you to wear a helmet, gloves, a motorcycle jacket or jersey and durable motorcycle boots while riding. For this purpose, please bring your own protectional gear.
