6-Day Kenya Tour

6 Days - North Rift & Southern Kenya

This itinerary will take you from Soysambu Conservancy in Nakuru, where you can see an incredible number of giraffes, gazelles and zebras amongst others up close on 2 wheels, the ride then continues on to the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, with again wonderful sightings of wildlife, including elephants. We will see much wildlife on this itinerary, including elephants. From the Mara we ride to Lake Naivasha, a large freshwater lake with its large population of hippos. We return then through the forests and hills to Nakuru and Lake Elementeita. This route show cases the beautiful scenery and wildlife Kenya has to offer – riding through small villages and rolling hills and valleys.

Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi:
You will be picked up from the airport and driven to the hotel where you will spend the first night.

Day 2 - Time to ride:
Early pickup in Nairobi. Approximately a three-hour drive to Punda Milias Camp. Meet your riding crew. Sort out equipment, receive the bikes, and safety instructions for safari. Time to ride! We go into the forest and hills all the way to a small dam, with a fantastic viewpoint. Overnight at Punda Milias Nakuru camp.

Day 3 - Exploring the area:
After breakfast, time to meet the famous Kenyan wildlife! The Soysambu Conservancy is home to plenty of plains game, zebra, giraffe, gazelle, as well as buffalos amongst other animals. Riding on and around the conservancy is unbelievably beautiful and seeing the animals from the seat of your motor bike is an experience of a lifetime. Overnight at Punda Milias Nakuru camp.

Day 4 - Maasai Mara:
Depart from Punda Milias and ride to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The ride takes you out of the Great Rift Valley and south towards the Tanzanian border. The terrain changes and is a mix of red soil and black cotton soil. Picnic lunch on route to the Maasai Mara. Lots of animal sightings to be expected. Overnight at the Sekenani camp that is on the edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Day 5 - Wildlife:
Rest day with a safari in a 4x4 in the Maasai Mara to see the BIG 5! Overnight at the Sekenani camp.

Day 6 - Time to say goodbye:
Last day of the safari; ride from the Mara into the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, one of the 3 freshwater lakes in Kenya. From Lake Naivasha, we go into the surrounding hills and then into the Eburu forest. This ride is spectacular, beautiful sceneries all the way. Through different trails, we ride back to Nakuru Punda Milias Camp. After a shower and late lunch, we driver back to Nairobi and JKIA for the flight returning home.
